I can't be the only one who thinks that fresh new pyjama's are among some of the best things in life? It's the little things!

If you have already seen my 'What I Got For Christmas' video, you will have seen that I was lucky enough to get some cute new pyjama's from Next for Christmas. The set comes with a pastel pink furry jumper (and it's that fur that is SUPER soft) and pastel tartan trousers. I am actually sat wearing them as I am typing at this very moment. I must add that I've probably never felt so comfortable while blogging before.

The jumper is just the most comfy and cosy thing ever. Just so perfect for Winter in England. The trousers are also super comfy and spacious. I admit I can't actually sleep wearing the jumper as it gets way too hot but since I'm someone who tends to lounge around in my pj's all day (I do this way too much).. well it's perfect for that!

Did any of you get pyjamas for Christmas this year?

I'm not normally a big watch wearer but how pretty is this one from Daniel Wellington?! It's called the Classic St Andrews watch and I chose to have the metal parts in rose gold since I'm just obsessed with rose gold at the moment.

I absolutely love the simple and modern (even though it's got the word classic in the name haha) look it's got going on. It's simple enough that it goes with everything, yet with the face being quite big it still adds a noticeable statement accessory to your outfit. The strap is made of genuine leather and it feels super sturdy. It was actually a little struggle to get it to bend properly round my wrist at first!

I was lucky enough to be sent this watch from Daniel Wellington. I admit that normally I would go for a cheaper option of watch (which I have done in the past) which have usually ended up breaking or getting knocked and looking scratty. Or they're just not very comfy to wear! If you're a regular watch wearer looking for a watch that will actually last, I honestly think that it would be worth investing a bit more. After wearing this watch for a bit I can definitely tell the difference in quality when compared with my cheap Topshop one that looks very similar!

Yes I am doing a blog post about tea towels. But they are super pretty so it's aloud! I was lucky enough to win these in a competition.. don't you just love a competition! They are from the brand Hey Holla (everytime I hear this I just wanna HOLLAAAA) which have lots of cute, modern and pastel coloured things. Tote bags, aprons, accessories. All things that would make lovely gifts! You should definitely take a look at the website if you're into that kinda thing.

I love the motifs on each tea towel.. even though I actually hate wine! (although I hope I do one day because I always think it looks super sophist when people drink it. LOL). I feel like the 'It's never too early for champers darling' motif is something that Mark Francis from Made In Chelsea would say. Fellow MIC fans will get me.

These tea towels won't really be much use to me now but one day when I move out, I plan on my kitchen being white with everything pretty pastel colours. Aww I wish I had my own place to decorate now! Preferably in London.

I didn't know how to describe the pattern of my skirt so I've just included a close up picture of it. I think it's really cute and the red is quite appropriate for the Festive season. Obviously the pattern is quite statement so I've just teamed it with a plain black turtle neck and boots. Nice little Winter ensemble I think.

Oh and do you like how I didn't know what to call this outfit post so I just chose the title of a One Direction song. Hehe.

I feel like it's been so long since I've done an outfit post! Maybe because I haven't been at home in ages and that's where I have the best lighting for outfit photos. But also because I haven't been buying many clothes. I'm not sure why.. there just hasn't been as many that I've liked.

Anyway If you watched my December Haul video you will have seen that I recently have made a few purchases. I'm wearing a striped turtle neck crop top from Topshop (which sooo many people seem to have!). I have to say I am loving the turtle neck look at the mo! I just teamed it with my simple black skort and my chunky chelsea boots. Voilaaa.

I have been lucky enough to get my hands on one of the Benefit 'Primping With The Stars' sets which claims to be the all time greatest fake-its kit. I had never tried any of the products in the set before so here's what I made of them..

The set contains;

They're Real Mascara

Basically it's all you could ever want from a mascara. It lengthens my lashes like crazy with just one coat. It's also quite volumising yet not at all clumpy. The lengthening factor is definitely the star of the show though and It pains me to say that it puts my favourite Chanel mascara to shame.

Stay Don't Stray Primer

So you put this anywhere where you would apply concealer (blemishes, under eyes) before you apply it and it's meant to help it last or 'Stay' longer. The product actually just seems like the same consistency as a regular concealer. It doesn't really seem primer-y at all. Strange!

I found that it definitely covered my blemishes and dark under eye circles pretty well. However I have to be honest and say that I really didn't notice that it made my concealer stay on for longer. It was just like I had applied two layers of concealer (which came off just as easily as it normally does).

Benetint Lip & Cheek Stain

the Benefit Bene-tint is a pinky/red liquid product that you can use on either your lips or cheeks to give them a nice pink tint. I've never really used a product like this before so I was quite pleasantly surprised.
This product is so perfect for if you want a really subtle pop of colour on your cheeks. You only need a little but I find that it just adds such a nice and natural. pink tone to your cheeks.

Again for the lips I found it was similar. Obviously it depends on how much you use so you could use a lot and have your lips a really bright pink, or as I prefer, I just like to use a little and it has such a good 'your lips but better' effect.

Some Kind-A Gorgeous Foundation

First I will just point out that even though it's oil free, I wouldn't recommend it for someone with oily skin as the formulation is quite dewy. This is great for me though! I love how light the formulation is and it's definitely good for when you're going for a super natural look (or if you're in a good skin phase). It has a fairly decent level of coverage considering how light the product is but obviously not as much coverage as a proper foundation. I've been wearing this a bit at the moment as my skin has been pretty good .. except for the few spots that erupted today (I knew it was too good to be true). The only down side I would say is the lack of staying power. It does need to be reapplied quite often but a super light product is never really going to have brilliant staying power is it?! So yeah a pretty good product but I wouldn't say I was blown away or anything.

Girl Meets Pearl Liquid Pearl

I just apply it to the tops of my cheek bones above where I create my bronze contour line. I admit that you do need to use quite a bit of the product to a super strong highlight.. but when you do, it looks so good! Sort of like what a regular highlight would look like but just with an extra pearly shimmer.

The POREfessional Balm

I have been focussing the product on my nose area as well as a little bit on my t-zone. The product glides on. It's so smooth and gives your skin such a lovely silky feel. The product matifies your skin (without drying it out) leaving a perfect base for you to apply any foundation on the top. I will just point out that it's important you pat the product in rather than rub as it will come off quite easily.

All the items in the set are miniatures which is cool because it gives me the chance to try the products out before buying the full size versions which are pretty pricey.

Oh and I think this set would make SUCH a lovely Christmas present for someone who loves Benefit cosmetics or just makeup in general! At around £26 I think it's a pretty good price considering how many little products you get.

Have any of you tried any of the products in the set?

Trinité Village

The other day I was lucky enough to be sent some lovely goodies from Trinité Village to try out. Trinité Village are a company that specialise in vegetarian and vegan soaps, bath melts and candles. Everything is made by hand and looks super pretty and cute. It's similar to Lush but the products are a bit different which I think is nice because I always like to try out new things.

When the parcel arrived I opened it and I was overwhelmed by the amazing smell of the products. Honestly they smell AMAZING! And as you can see from the pictures they come wrapped in tissue paper and string. Pretty packaging is always a winner in my eyes!

Here's what I thought of the products..

Snowball Bath Fizzer

As you can see from the picture, the fizzer is super glittery so it made my bath go all sparkly and pretty. It also just added such a nice refreshing fragrance to the bathroom. Perfect for a nice unwinding bath after a stressful day!

Robin Bath Mallow

Next I tried out a bath mallow. The one I received had the most adorable little Robin on it. It almost felt too cute to actually use!.. but I fancied a relaxing bath and this was calling me..
Once I put it in my bath, it took quite a while to completely dissolve but when it did, it was so nice! My bath went pale pink with white swirls and filled with glitter and little sparkly stars. Not only did it look amazing but the water changed consistency and felt so silky and moisturising. Not to mention the amazing sweet smell that filled the bathroom.

Lemon Sherbet Bath Bomb

It's basically a super fresh smelling, white and yellow bath bomb with a little square pattern on the top. As soon as I put it into my bath, it fizzed like crazy.. crazier than regular bath bombs, and the lovely refreshing smell filled the bathroom! The colour of the water didn't change too much which is something I normally like from a bath bomb, but I think the amazing smell made up for that. Anyway, I really enjoyed my bath and definitely felt nice and relaxed afterwards. I could do with an endless supply of these!

Slice Of Soap

Before I talk about how much I love the product, can we just talk about how pretty it is. I mean it's baby and barbie pink with little chunks and sparkles. It also smells UHHHMAAZING. Think super sweet strawberry sweets. I would actually say this is like the Trinité Village equivalent to Lush's Snow Fairy. Basically the perfect accompaniment to any girly girls bath/shower.

Have you ever tried anything from Trinite Village?

Soap & Glory: Solar Powder and Peach Party

Heavy contouring seems to be the 'in thing' at the moment and I'm obsessed with it. One product that I have been using for a while to contour is the Soap & Glory Solar Powder Bronzer.

It's the perfect bronze shade. Not too orange but not too neutral so it really does help create that defined cheek bone look. Half of the product is a darker bronze colour and then half of it is lighter and sort of acts as a highlight. Both shades in mine are kind of mixed now because I've used it so much!

My new go-to blush is the Soap & Glory Peach Party blush. I absolutely love how the little pan has all the different shades. When swirled together they create a really natural pink. The shimmer also makes it slightly luminous and the light shade in the pan sort of acts as a highlighter. So it's sort of like two products in one.

The one down side about these products is probably the packaging. It's sort of made out of that sturdy cardboard stuff which get's messy and mucked up with makeup really easily. If it was made of plastic it would be perfect! Other than that, I've been really impressed with Soap & Glory makeup at the moment and am definitely keen to try out more.

What's your favourite Soap & Glory makeup product?

I've had my Candy Kittens t-shirt and jumper for ages but I love the Candy Kittens brand so I thought I'd do a little post about it. If you watch Made In Chelsea you probably already know about Candy Kittens. Candy Kittens is basically a clothes/sweets (and other random things) brand created by Jamie Laing who is one of the main characters on Made In Chelsea.

I love their range of clothes because they're all quite simple but have catchy motif's on. They're great clothes to just chill and lounge around in (something I do a lot). Most of the stuff seems to follow a grey, pink, navy blue and white theme which looks so cute. Also their current AW collection is really cool!

If you've never checked out the website, definitely take a look here. It's very pink and girly! Oh and you can buy the Candy Kittens sweets in any Waitrose stores and OMG they taste so good!

Have you got anything from Candy Kittens?

If you're someone that suffers from dry skin like me, you seriously need this primer in your life!

When it comes to skin care I've always thought Nivea is one of the best brands. Well it always seems to work for my skin anyway! If I don't use some kind of moisturising primer before applying foundation, it looks terrible! I get lots of little dry patches on my face and it looks like i've put too much foundation on because it goes all cakey.. which isn't exactly the nicest look!

This Nivea Express Hydration Primer has been a life saver! I literally just apply a tiny bit all over my face before putting on any makeup and it absorbs straight into my skin. So even though it's moisturising, it's really not oily at all. It creates a super smooth base to apply foundation and It keeps my skin super moisturised at the same time. My foundation looks much more even and flawless and no more dry patches/cakey-ness! It also seems to stay on for a lot longer than usual which is really great because I always seem to have a problem with my makeup wearing off too quickly.

Have any of you tried this product?

Oh and (if you have dry skin?) what are your favourite products for dry skin?

I think I'm becoming obsessed with lipsticks. Honestly, a few months back and I rarely ever wore lipstick. Now I completely love it!

The newest addition to my collection is the L'Oreal colour riche lipstick in a gorgeous pink shade, 'Candy Rock'. I love the colour because it's quite neutral but at the same time still adds a pretty pop of colour. The lipstick is super moisturising PLUS.. how pretty is the packaging?! (sucker for pretty packaging alert).

I was lucky enough to get to try out a letterbox cake BakerDays.com. In case you don't know, Baker Days are a company that make amazing personalised cakes. You can have pretty much whatever you want on your cake.. your own photo's, personalised messages, celebrities, jokes.. there's just so much to choose from! You also get to choose what type of cake you want - vanilla, chocolate, vanilla & chocolate, fruit, gluten free, dairy free.

Of course I had to choose a cake with Harry Styles on it!.. and how cool is the little personalised message?! (I like to imagine Harry sent the cake to me ;)) I also went for a chocolate sponge. When the cake arrived I was so impressed with the packaging. The cake came in a cute little tin which I love because it's something you can keep afterwards. It also came with a little pack of balloons and candles. Perfect if you've bought a cake for a birthday!

I would also just like to add that the cake tastes amazing. The icing is super sweet and vanilla tasting and the chocolate sponge was rich and not at all dry. The cakes do last for 14 days so if you wanted to buy one for someone a few days in advance then it's absolutely fine! You can also choose from a few different sizes of cake. I got the letterbox cake which serves about 2/3 but you can get bigger ones or even just an individual cupcake.

I really loved my cake and I think something like this would make a great little gift for someone on a special occasion or just as a random cute gesture!
