Last Thursday night was my Prom to celebrate the end of 13 and the end of school forever (fingers crossed). The whole of my year travelled to a race course function room where we had some drinks and a tasty buffet. Then afterwards, we all went into town and hit the night clubs.

I decided to be a bit different, and instead of going for a typical prom dress, I wore a playsuit. Being short, I find it much easier shopping for playsuits since it's so difficult to find dresses that aren't too long and that are flattering. I really liked the white one I found because it looked formal enough for Prom with the pretty white ruffle, but was also suitable for going to night clubs afterwards (and doing lotsaaa dancing). Of course, I teamed this with my platform wedges from Topshop. I just love them so much because they add so much height, yet the platform means that they're still super comfortable to walk in (I managed to keep them on all night, YES!).

When it comes to fragrances, my all time favourite has to be Chanel perfumes. Okay they may not be the cheapest of perfumes, but I can honestly say they are so so worth the extra cost. They just smell incredible. They actually smell like they are expensive..anyone get what I mean?!

At the moment I've been using Chanel Coco Mademoiselle which I got for my birthday. As you can probably see from the pictures, mine is the twist and spray version rather than just one big bottle. In the little box, you get the little white perfume dispenser which I love because it has the Chanel logo on the top. And then you get two little refill bottles. This is so useful when on the go as it doesn't take up much room in your bag and saves from having to carry round a big bottle of perfume.

The fragrance is perfect for this season as it's quite a fresh scent. By this I mean it doesn't have a vanilla-y smell at all. It's more floral, but not that over powering/granny-ish floral that's tends to be really sickly. I would describe it as smelling really elegant and chic which sounds a bit strange since it's a scent, but if you smell it, it will probably make more sense!

I can see this fragrance being one that I will continue to re-purchase over the years, as I never seem to get bored or used to it like other fragrances.

Do any of you have the Coco Mademoiselle perfume?

I'm a massive fan of winged eye liner but to be honest i'm sooOO bad at applying it. As an end of exams present, my sister bought me a Soap & Glory Supercat carbon black eye liner pen... (I have the best sister ever!). I was really excited to try it as I've heard lots of good things about the product.

The eye liner is literally like a black felt tip pen which makes it so much easier to draw the perfect wing. I'm still no pro at making it look perfectly even, but let's just say it does make it a great deal easier and allows you to be much more precise when drawing it on.

I found that the product stays on really well all day, despite the amount of times I rub my eyes without realising! I'd definitely recommend it for someone who is new to winged eye liner or just lacks the skills like myself.

Have any of you tried the Soap & Glory Supercat eyeliner pen?

I've finally managed to find a high street foundation that is the perfect light shade for my skin tone *fist pumps*. For some reason, I always find it difficult to find the right shade for my skin. My skin is super pale but anything too white just completely washes me out.

I came across the L'oreal Infallible foundation in the shade 'Porcelain' which I believe is the lightest shade it comes in. I wasn't expecting miracles since L'oreal products can be a bit hit and miss, but I was pleasantly surprised.

The formulation is perfect; not too thin and not too thick (no cakey-ness) and it blends in really easily. The coverage is great which is just what I need as my face appears to be break out central at the moment.. forever wishing for flawless skin!

The product is described as a 'stay fresh foundation' which I definitely agree with as it works well with my dry skin. If you have dry skin like me, you may have noticed that over the course of a day, your skin can dry out and your foundation starts to look patchy..ew! I found that with this foundation, it didn't do that at all. Probably to do with the fact it's quite a thin consistency and gives you a nice dewy glow (not OTT dewy though) rather than a matte look.

Have any of you tried the L'oreal Infallible foundation?

At last my A-Levels are over and I am free to enjoy the summer. Being able to chill out and blog feels so good after what seems like constant revision and stress. As an end of exams treat, my Mum took me shopping. When it comes to Summer-y clothes I just can't resist. Pastel colours are too pretty and they seem to be EVERYWHERE at the moment. When I spotted the pastel pink joni jeans I just had to have them. Joni jeans are definitely my favourite jeans and the pale pink colour makes them perfect for English Summer weather. Next on my list are the white ones!
